Paint creek can be a tough place to fish. Had to really slow down the presentation. Sometimes I even had to cut the z-man fatty-z down and make it 4". If you fish methodically and take your time, The fish were there. Most were in the 16-20" range.

What an amazing day of fishing. The bite was strong, and the bass were inhaling a jig. Anywhere you found structure you would find fish. I was using a bisty flip jig with a small rage tail trailer. There was a distinct line of muddy water and stained water about 1/2 way down the lake. I stayed in the stained water area and caught all the fish. We had a local tournament and finished 2nd with a 5 fish bag of 12lbs. 7 oz.
