I checked out a new lake for me on my kayak. The shallows were littered with gills and I think the Bass had already spawned. The lake is shallow and hard to find an outside weedline but I tried to stay away from the bank while slowly swimming a jig through pads. I caught a lot of smaller buck bass and even a few on a topwater frog.
