Slick calm water with very little clouds made the bite tough. Was able to catch bluegill and rock bass up shallow among the wood and rocks, but all the decent fish seemed a bit further out in deeper water. This jig was JUST RIGHT for the fall rate to work perfectly with the 3” pit boss. All but one fish was on the drop.

First outing with this rod/reel combo. I was kind of force feeding them this day, simply to give the new combo some time on the water. They didnt seem to mind however! Smallies mainly, but also some big pike and LMB's too!
