Weather has been rainy and nasty. Figured I would give it a shot and see what I could catch today. Caught this one right up near the bank on the jig. He hammered it and swallowed it practically.

Actual bait was a 6th Sense Clout worm in the Merthiolate color I just cut in half and added to a 1/6th ounce Zman Ned head. Don’t see that on the list here, but there it is. No bass biting today and was surprised to have this guy bite. Would have been nice to catch a limit on these for a fish fry, but gave up due to rain. Have not caught a sauger in years, so that was even more of a surprise.
