Bass were moving in to spawn but we're not all the way there yet. Was casting at bank in 1ft of water and jerked bait out to about 4-5ft. They were sitting right on drop and hitting jerkbait on the pause. About 2-4 second pause

GoPro died so no vid for this one. First time out using Mastiff. Great line! Very smooth and just comes off reel nicely. Was targeting rip rap and wood. Slow rolling the chatterbaits and bumping everything. Ended with a bunch of fish but only two that were decent. 4.5 and 2.5lbers. Go pro died and phone was in truck. Will take pics of equipment and add. Evergreen combat stick is a phenomenal chatterbaits rod. Light to use and you cannot miss with the slow action. Very happy with the line and rod today.
