Started with swim baits around edge of grass beds. No success. Then moved to running a frog over grass. Nothing. Moved down river to try damiki rig over old bridges. Still no bites. Wind was from east 5-8 mph. Nice cold wind as well. I put on gold Rapala 6 inch jerk bait. Caught only fish by working windward bank.

Did not get any in boat, but had 4 good blow ups in grass. Had to get back into grass using channels where mats are breaking up. Strong smell of bluegill and lots of fish activity near boat. Fishing remaining grass beds near main channel that were still green.
