April 15th 2022 I fished here for only about an hour before the high winds kicked me off the lake. Though in that hour I caught 4 largemouth bass on the Spro little John in spring craw pattern. I was fishing the side of the lake opposite of the boat launches letting the wind push me down the bank. I was fishing in about 6 foot of water where the chunk rock and boulders were about to meet the old grass line. All the bass smashed the crank bait and now I'm in love with crank bait fishing! Today I had a Kayak tournament for SlayNation PA Kayak Series. I have many years of experience on this lake and did the usual. I mixed between a dropshot and a Texas rigged worm. The drop shot is good in the deeper areas with less grass. But a lot of the lake has a large amount of grass. I would just let the wind float me down as I dragged a Texas rigged worm through the grass. Eventually I would find productive areas in the grass where I could catch multiple fish. Nothing huge but the usual 12-15 inch largemouth bass that this lake is FULL of. Great day and cashes a check! You can find the video on Youtube at Jake_Stem_Fishing

Saturday evening I fished the lake for the PA Kayak SlayNation Tournament series event 3pm-10pm. I caught over 15 fish between bass and pickerel. The whole lake opposite end of dam is covered in grass on the bottom. I just drifted around casting randomly in 8-10 foot of water finding fish hidden in the grass bottom. I caught about 5 fish on the net rig and the rest on a Rabid Baits shaker worm in st Lawrence color. Awesome night of fishing I got second place as well as winning a side pot for biggest pickerel 18.50"
