We fished points, rocks, and weedlines. It's fun and nice walleyes. I love Ottertail County, MN! Need advice, contact me @reelingwithrigo on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. Check out my lake reviews for successful fishing trips here: https://www.omniafishing.com/dashboard?tab=fishing-reports

        Bluegill

Time 6am - 2pm early morning chatterbait around points with vegetation produced one small pike. Did see packs of blue gill everywhere. The rest of the early morning hours did not produce much with a chatterbait. Switch to a luck e strike six jerkbait around 8am. The largemouth began to strike at it. Caught several small largemouth. A few with some size. And one behemoth 5lb’r. Also several unwanted northerns joined the party . Although the first time out for the year, it felt good having my line stretched by any fish that would cooperate. The cadence of the jerkbait was erratic. Some retrieves were 3-2-1 some were 2-1-3 others were 1-1-2 . Throw your favorite colored jerkbait and enjoy your time in the water.
