Females are prowling for spawning locations and are rather unresponsive. Dropping baits on their heads got no reaction. Eventually found a pattern of quick jerks over darker spots of water with low visibility in the 10-15' depth range. Were able to get 5 keepers and several dinks. Jerkbaits were king, but pulled one on dropshot.

Many of the bass caught were from under docks. One nice Smallie was caught on the cull shad in 20ft of water under a raft. Two of us were fishing, one under docks the ther trowing out in deep water on the outside weed edge. All the dock fish were caught on the ned rig. One fish was gotten on a Lucky strike jerkbait another on a 3.8in Kiteck swimbait in blue glimmer. 32 fish were caught in 5hrs of fishing before the wind blew us off.
