Crappie are in concentrated schools in and around brush piles. If you get over a school, you can catch a bunch right now. This patter will continue throughout the winter. Have fun! Also, try some tungsten jigs. Great feel and sink quickly to the hungry crappie!!

Crappie are congregated in and around brush piles. You don’t need to be right in the brush. Crappie are all over around the perimeter of the brush as well. In addition, some bigger crappie were along steep drop offs along creek channels. If you catch one, keep fishing that spot as other crappie are close by.
