Slow day fishing on Lost lake, bites were hard to come by and one of the only things I could get to work was the trusty wacky worm. Berkley General is always my go to worm and I’ve started using the Mustad Alpha point Apex weedless hooks and they are sticky sharp. Makes for a fantastic combo.

Had a fun time today on a new small northern Minnesota Lake that produced some quality fish. Had the best luck casting the 1/2 ounce Feider jig letting it get down to 8-10 feet and bringing it through the vegetation. Switched up between the Xzone Swammer and the Yum Christie craw. Didn’t seem to make a difference what I used. Probably caught 25 fish total today. No giants, but several solid fish in the 16-18 inch range.
