5/7/2022 Water temp was 49F rising to 52F throughout the day. Weather was sunny with 10-15 mph ESE winds, calming in the afternoon. I fished from about 11 am to 3:30 pm. I started in 10-15 ft of water working main lake structures (points, drops, rockpiles) but found fish on windward 5-8 ft flats with mixed rock and soft bottom adjacent to points and good spawning habitat. They were aggressive. The Dark Sleeper was a great bait for this scenario -- allowed me to cover water and control depth. Plus, the bass were CHOKING on them. Cheers.

the fish were making bed in 5-6 feet of water at the base of the small 2-3 stick ups that was about 6-12 " above the water. 30-40 fish a day up to 5lb
