We located crappie in the tall weeds and used drop shot technique - pencil weight. Weather was hot in the high 90s, fishing shut down around noon. Caught a 10" sunfish and 1 crappie after noon.

The best seems to be the mini tubes but also small night crawler and leeches from gulp also caught fish. Most were 9-11 inch and would just follow the kayak and try to hide under it.
