I found some suspended in 20-30ft of water and was fishing vertical with a damiki rig. The bites where slow but consistent.

Spent about 7 hours on the water fishing a typical winter pattern. Fished rather slow and methodical dragging and popping a jig along rocky points. Love the Beast Coast Hybrid jig in 5/16. Sexy Texan color with a paca craw bit down for a trailer. Best 5 went about 12lbs. He’s a nice one from the day caught on the jig. Jerk bait and bladed jig caught a few too.
