The blade strikes again! The bite was definitely slower than it was earlier in the fall, and a lot less aggressive. Most of my bites just felt like mush and it would take until I lifted my rod to realize I had a fish. The fish seemed to be around brush that was located near or in the channel. Blades have been just about the only thing I've been able to get bit on this late in the year!

I was targeting grass edges that still had green grass on them. The shad seemed to be suspending right along the grass lines with the bass right under them in about 9-11'. I had to work the blade S-L-O-W, but that's fall and winter fishing in the Midwest. Was glad to get on some!
