    For spring crappie fishing, try an small tungsten ice jig and plastic bait on a weighted slip bobber. On light gear these little guys sure are a great way to spend a sunny afternoon on the water before the regular season. Found them holding tight to hard lilipad root structure on the north end of the lake in 4-8' of water that was floating from the prior year. Casting around with a weighted float allows you to pick apart the north end lake this time a year before the weeds along the shoreline really close off access.

    Very clean lake with lots of structure. Has deep hole on one side and vibrant green pads all the way around. Top water frogs for the monster bass
