With this "Lake" being more of a pond rather than a lake, the bass main forage is bluegill. I was targeting points and pockets, managed to hookup with a few. The largest being just shy of 3lbs.

While the bass haven't quite moved up shallow, they are staring to chase bait. i had more luck downsizing from a standard Jackhammer and 4"+ trailer. Fishing from the bank, I was casting about 75'+ outside of a corner pocket and got all of my bites in the first 5 or so turns of the reel. Landed 2 decent size bass(3lbs or so) in about 20 minutes.
