Fish were suspended in about 5ft over 15ft of water, in front of staging areas in front of spawning pockets. You could scan around to find the wolf packs or just cast around until they starting busting on the bait at the surface and casting to them!

Focused on weed edges adjacent to spawning flats and transition areas with the chatterbait. Also caught some key fish up shallow pitching and fishing around bedding areas. Biggest fish 6.8lbs came off a bed with Missile Baby D Stroyer. I uses the same rod, 7’3H dobyns champion, for both techniques.
