Fish the canals, look for spawners around the docks. I like to throw a small profile tungsten jig. I think you can feel the fish pick it up better when they aren't committed to biting it. Sometimes you can't see them pick it up, or need to stay way back.

Was able to get 50+ inches to the boat at Lake Tarpon this week.I launched around 4pm and fished for 2.5 hours. Most my hits came on the tri winged buzzbait. I found a half submerged dock close to cover and covered lots of ground with the buzz bait. Eventually a big strike came after I went over the dock. Good 16 inch largemouth. The rest came on a 6 inch speed worm working grass lines and thick cover.
