Last ice just left so the water was just above freezing. Air temps were about 40 in the morning and set to rise to about 50 mid day. Ran moving baits such as the spinner and bladed jig with a few thumbs but no hooksets. Switched up to a deep jerkbait (Berkley Stunna +1 in the Phenom color) and hitting bottom and pausing got me on my first open water bass of 2025!

Fished most of the day in 8-11 FOW dragging a Strike King Coffee Tube on a 1/2oz Bite Me Big Dude tube jig. Morning bite was extremely slow, but it picked up significantly around noon. The water around the mouth of the Clinton River was completely blown out due to all the recent rains. Once you got away from the river, the water clarity was very, very good. Ended the day with 26 total, but I spent quite a bit of my day graphing around to get ready for a couple trips this upcoming weekend.
