Went out for a few hours and managed one bite and capitalized on it. Mid morning flipping submerged vegetation edges with the baby brush hog. VMC hooks did the job they always do! Looking forward to getting the kayak out to this gorgeous lake again in the future

Largemouth were chasing shad up around shallow grass, hitting on a Strike King 1/2 ounce Red Eye Shad in Sexy Shad color. I would work the edge of the grass and pop it out of the hydrilla when it would get hung up, prompting a reaction strike from the bass.
