Fishing has been up and down for me with fishing moving daily. I focused on bigger rock that was warming in the sun. Many bites came near rock transitions. I was fishing shallow near deeper water. If you haven't tried out a Dobyns champion HP rod you really should! After days of jerking a vision 110 and 110+1 you will be able to tell that the rod is lighter than most. I also would recommend a good set of pliers to help not hook yourself when throwing these lures. Ask me how I know. My partner and myself both had the pleasure of a fish hanging on a jerkbait with hooks in our hand this day.

Skipped senkos around docks to put a pretty good limit together for Anglers Choice. We were able to 18.18 with the majority of them coming on wacky rigged senkos. The spawn is under way but the biggest wave of spawners is still coming. The lake will be getting good soon if Mother Nature will work with us!
