Water temps were 58-60 degrees and water clarity was lightly stained to heavy stain. We targeted 45 degree chunk rock points with wind blowing directly on them. The most productive points were near channel swings on the main lake or just off the main lake. Key baits were 3/4 ounce tandem willow with large white blades. I used a Big Bitebaits Swimon in white and dipped the tail chartreuse. I slow rolled this around points that had docks on them. If there Were no docks present in the point I threw a Spro RK crawler. Either red craw or burnt craw were the main producers.

Fished mainly in the Big Niangua section of the lake. Caught fish on a glide bait, jig, and topwater. Better fish came on the jig and glide bait. The wind was blowing 20+ mph all day with much higher gust. A cold front was pushing through the area. Better fish were on main lake points and banks.

Very windy day targeting secondary points leading to spawning pockets. The back dock corners on the rock transitions offered bites throughout the day but with all the fishing pressure of the big bass bash seems the big ones were harder to find.
