Lake level was full after a heavy rain that made the upper lake a mudhole. I saw temps from 52-55, and caught all of my fish in less than 5 feet of water right up next to cover. The bite was tough, but the quality was there. I'd recommend focusing wood right now whether it's docks or laydowns. Fish should be pulled up on the wood pretty tight with the water being chocolate milk.

Water temps were in the upper 50's on 11/26. My quality bites all came on a jig early in the morning around stumps, followed up later on docks with a wacky rig all 10 feet or less in depth. Water is really clear for this lake right now, so trying to be as natural as possible helped.

Clear blue skies, high winds, and clear water were the conditions. I focused wind blown steep banks in roughly 10-15 feet of water. I had to weed through some striped bass to get the few good ones I caught.

Boulders
Most points or humps with boulders will hold fish this time of year. If the sun is shining, these areas will have slightly warmer water. Wind is a bonus.

Docks
Docks with submerged structure(rocks or brush) and deep water access are places of interest. Stroking a jackhammer or slow rolling the bait through the cover is key. Finesse jigs in green pumpkin and browns fished slow on the bottom in the same areas will also work.

01-23-22 Water temp 51-53, 10-15 mph winds with lightly stained water. Schools of bait in the mouths of coves and ditches in 20-30ft. Bigger boulders and chunk rock next to any drop off were holding fish. Coppertreuse trd and spro rock crawler in spring craw produced numbers while the swim bait got bigger bites.
