I have been fishing this lake for 5 years, the past two years angler pressure has gone up and the effects of overharvesting are being seen. I was unable to find a crappie over 6". If you choose to fish this lake please consider C&R or selective harvest to get the population back to what it can be. Crappie were located all around the basin, caught them on a VMC flash spoon (small one) and a VMC tungsten jig (both baits tiped wtih red spikes). My kids 3&7 both had fun, this is a fun lake to take kids out too
