The super cold snap pushed the spawn back a couple weeks. Visibility is about six inches. Look for bass mooing to and off of beds. They are stopping on brush piles in eight to ten feet of water.

Water is very muddy with about six inches of visibility. The water is also high and the bushes along the bank are flooded. I started off with a weedless wacky worm, but the bites were very light with few hook ups. I switched to a brightly colored square bill and caught five on five cast. Look for the fish on wind blown points. The color I was using is not listed, but is Mud Gill.

The lake is starting to clear up some with visibility running just over one foot. While there are some good fish shallow, a lot of bass stacking up on ledges on the creek channels. Some are around 24 feet and others are around 17 to 20 feet.
