These fish were located around bait however I could not get them to eat a standard baitfish profile. They are begging to stage for the pre-spawn and slowly working there way out a steady winter pattern. I changed to the jig to present a different profile then all the baitfish in the area. Just a slow drag is what produced bites. The Outkast jig has a great O'shaughnessy hook on it that really keeps the fish pinned well.

Caught a lot of striped bass while targeting largemouth using jerk baits on edge of points looking for suspended bass. Closer to the main lake produced biggest striped bass.
