Post-spawn fish were scattered so we did a lot of searching with moving baits like topwater, jerkbaits and soinnerbaits. When we learned where the fish were congregating, ned rigs were most effective at triggering the larger, finicky fish. Points with rocks and some weeds held the nicest fish. 5-7 ft was best with the sun and wind blowing into the points.
