Lily Pads
During the fall transition bass can be hard to find. A lot of the vegetation starts to die so try to find the greenest weeds you can and the bass will likely be grouped up there. Working a frog through the lily pads or over the matted grass is one of the best ways to catch them.

Submerged Vegetation
During the early summer, bass will slide out to deeper water and sit in the grass clumps. Lake MacBride is full of grass so it can be difficult to find the areas that are actually holding the fish. I like to flip a texas rigged creature bait or a grass jig. Topwater can also be good in the mornings and evenings.
