While there is a ton of crappie in Lake Marion, there are some great bass to be found. Buck bass are up shallow and the ladies are cruising on the edges of the grass line and hyacinths. Was able to find success running texas rigged worms and senkos along shallow pads and sparse Kissimmee grass. Also had success with small swim jigs in similar areas.

Fishing was slow for us due to boat problems however the first three finishers had 19.4 to 20.1 lbs! We caught 3 bass by flipping the reeds and Kissimmee grass in 3 to 4' of water. The fish seemed to be about 4' back from the outer edge of the reeds Pretty lake with about 2'(from what little we saw) visibility and tons of hydrilla in open water.
