8/10/2022: The smallmouth are stacked up shallow. I was in town and fished a Wednesday night tournament. I didn't find many bigs, but when you found a school off the docks you could catch 10+ in just a few minutes. An underspin with a small swim bait was my main bait to located the schools, and a dropshot was my follow bait if I was right over the top of them. Kampeska is a very fun lake if you are looking for numbers!
