I was one of a large group of kayak anglers fishing on 04/14/2022. There was a pretty strong E-SE wind. We caught quite a few fish on the Jack Hammer, I caught 3 3/4lb. largemouth on a point. Another angler caught several more on a different color (not sure which) Chatterbait on a secondary point. Others were also catching good numbers on a Senko. A few fish were spotted on beds, most were not there yet.

While fishing in late November I was lucky enough to have a fairly calm day, cloudy and overcast. Was not having any luck until switching to the Booyah Covert Series 1/2 oz Spinnerbait, blue chart. with a red head, double colorado blade w/orange kicker. Was fishing west of the damn by the rocky shore about 10-20 feet off the bank. Cast out, let the bait sink to the bottom, then slow rolled it back Caught a couple of nice largemouths, larger one probably would have gone about 2-2.5 lbs but jumped off my measuring board (on a kayak) before I could get pics or anything. That bait seems to do well in cold water.
