Lake Granby—July 20–The trout were fired up and blowing up everywhere…my limitation was casting distance with a fly rod and little room for the back cast. I did manage to find a sweet little bend in a feeder stream that held some big browns. After trying multiple flies, I tied on my biggest grasshopper imitation, and this 26” brown slurped it down first cast. If you are a fly fisherman, I highly suggest checking out this area.
