May 16–The largemouth bass were just about to spawn. They were all stacked in the backs of pockets and completely visible in the clear water. Unfortunately, after some battery trouble, we got out late around midday. We were still able to catch a few on the finesse jigs! I was using a PB+J color with a craw trailer.

In early July on Williams Bay the bass could be found in rocky patches near vegetation and could be seen in about 10-20 feet of water. We sight fished mostly and caught most of the bass on dropshots, using any natural colored 3.5/4 inch worms. I specifically used the Zoom finesse worm in multiple colors, Zman finesse worms in watermelon, and the Reins bubbring shaker in morning dawn, bluegill, and green pumpkin. Using size 2 hooks and 1/8 oz weights. Other presentations included small swim baits, Ned rigs, and the whopper plopper.
