This week of practice was full of ups and downs with the temperature. On this day due to a major drop in the temps I decided to venture off the bank on Lake Eustis and see what we could do. I found several areas of hydrilla that held numbers of good bass. The only way that I could make them participate was dragging a chatterbait through the grass as slow as i possibly could. At times they would eat it literally sitting still. Super fun bite, highly recommend this technique to any and all of my friends that are offshore in hydrilla. Hopefully this tip helps you get a few extra bites on your next outing!
