My parents live on the lake and I watched boat after boat come thru the reeds with Texas rigs, moving baits etc. I noticed that the reeds were getting beat up pretty hard and producing less and less fish. While casting off the dock (and from the boat), I threw my jig, ned rig, dropshot a few feet from the edge of the reeds and shook slack. Be patient with pressured fish. Slow presentations such as ned rigs and drop shots produced the most offshore bites

Largemouth are schooled up by size so it may take a while to locate the bigger ones offshore but when you do - hit spot lock and stay hydrated! Cruise the drop offs looking for bluegills adjacent to the drop and suspended over the deep grass. Start with wacky rig dropshot and then rotate jigs, neds, texas rigs when the bite slows.
