The pre-spawn bite is close to being on fire on Kerr Lake. The bass are just starting to move up onto shallow rocky points. You can catch these fish by fishing a rattle trap erratically along these long rocky points. Use your electronics to find the points that have bait close by and wind blowing on the point. We caught several this way.
