Johnson Pond is a small lake in southern wake county. There is a small ramp at which you can put in a small boat or kayak, electric motors only. Black and Blue seem to work best on this body of water. Shakey heads in deeper water and wacky rigged senkos around laydowns work best. There is grass in spots that can be fished with a weightless Texas rigged senko. Walk a frog in the shallow areas to find some cruising bass.
