Fished a greenhorn event out here. Very hard chain to fish. Not many bass and very little size. About your only option for largemouth is frogging because the entire chain is covered in cheese. So that's the only bait that works. That big worm rod is my favorite frog rod ever. It's a heavy extra fast, not medium heavy. Tight lines guys!

Morning started off fantastic along a sand flat with sunfish beds shallow. Fished texas rigged senko and grass jig on the deeper weed clumps with bait schools. Caught many fish in the first couple of hours in very light wind. Once the sun got high the fishing slowed until the wind picked up and then we caught a bunch more in similar areas throughout the lake. Fished mainly in the 8 to 16 ft range.
