Frogging around brush piles is a must at Heart Lake. I favor scum frogs because I get the best hookups and for some reason, fish just seem to bite them more, especially here in Northern Michigan!

Dragging a Culprit worm and giving it small hops in front of a brush pile is another sure fire way to catch fish at Heart Lake! 100% recommend a culprit worm like these (the 7.5 inch tends to work best)!
