Water temp pushing high 60s at some points during the day, when it was sunny out got on a bite on the southern end of Guntersville pitching a drop shot into the holes in the eelgrass marked on side imaging. The key was to find eelgrass mixed with some healthy coontail and if milfoil was mixed in as well it was a bonus. Aarons pro magic in the 4.5 size was the best drop shot worm of the day.

Fantastic Day had 15.5 lbs came super close need to cull a 2lber I could not get rid of all day ugh !!!! But we Scraped all we had and target bass in all the 10 foot flats it was a blast we would use a moving bait and then we would hunker down once we would find the area the school of bass was. It switched when the wind picked up and sun came out lights out ! They were eating the living snot out of the shad and even had shad in my live well when I was cleaning it back out after the Derb. These fish are staging infall ways and bits post and pre it is wack but a fun bite keep your head up you never know when the fish will turn on. We had nothing till 11 then sacked up and culled up 7 pounds to anchor our our with a 5.25 pictured in my right hand. A 3/4 oz trap late in any color 1knock or any knock produced the key bites we needed to finish 49th out of 250 !
