Laydowns
With water temps in the Mid 60's, the Majority of the Bass in Mid April have already spawned, but pockets with large laydowns and hard bottom area great place to target a mix of the last few straggling fish staging to spawn and big females immediately staging as they complete laying their eggs. Target these laydowns with long accurate & quiet casts with your favorite stick worm neko rigged, with VMC Weedless Neko hooks and small 1/16oz Neko weights. This pattern should work well between South Sauty creeks down to Siebold area. Another good pattern for this time of year, is to find isolated humps with grass and shell, cover them with Swimbaits and C-Rigs
