Only way we could catch Walleyes on this trip was to fish the river channel in the evening with slip bobbers and live leeches. Tossing the jig and bobber up river and letting it float down to us. Before casting it back up river.

Fishing over these few days was difficult due to cold, rainy and windy conditions. Lake Trout were tough to come by. They were scattered over the open water basins in the 25-35 feet of water range. Best method was trolling Flicker Shad or Shad Raps at about 1.5 - 2 mph. We only caught 3 in three days.
