Best areas were outside river bends where current pushed up against the bank with laydowns or scattered eel grass present. Spinnerbait and a small swimbait produced the most bites.

Caught largemouth and a few smallmouth and pike letting the swimbait drift with the heavy current out of the spillway.

Caught largemouth, northern pike, and a few walleyes around scattered grass patches. Best area was near where a creek came in that had cleaner water. Many baits worked but a jerkbait got the most bites.
