Bass were posted up post-spawn among the lillipads adjacent to wind-blown current. Water clarity is decent, but on the darker side. Use bright senko when the sun is shinning and blue/black color when its not. Having a fast reel and a nail weight was critical to quickly pepper the edges with casts to work the worm as you cover water.

Goose was producing pike on the chatterbait trailered with Keitech Fat Swing Impact swimbait off the weedlines in 6-10 FOW. Nortrons were t-boning the chartreuse Jack Hammer, using a moderate action rod was key to take the hit and be able set the hook.
