Took the took the kid and grandpa out for some panfish and we caught a bunch of bluegills and a few crappies. Slip bobbers worked great with 1/16oz vmc mooneye jigs with 1/3 of a crawler or a small leech. Fished the weedline in around 15ft

Chatter baits slow rolled around the outside weedline worked well. From the weedline edge to up on top of the weedline in 14-17ft. The weedline is thick out there and the bass and northerns kept us plenty busy. Used a bait casting reel and a medium power crankbait style rod with plenty of bend to let the fish load up well without ripping it out of their mouth. Suffix 832 in 20# worked great.
