I caught my fish on canyon walls and chunk boulders off of the main creek channel. I was fishing a heavier head than usual to get a faster fall on the ledges. I typically catch a mixed bag of largemouth and smallmouth, but this was a largemouth day. Steep walls and boulders that create shade lines was key.
