Sitting in 10 feet of water and throwing up towards the bank, the fish were hitting it on the first drop off. Water had been warmer and spawning was starting, the cold front came through and it seems like they backed out to the first drop and that's where I was getting them. Pictured is a 4.05 lbs. I caught a couple of smaller ones and had one break my line. Bites were plentiful some very subtle and others just about yanked the rod out of my hands. Cool morning, 48 when I arrived, but warmed into the 60's by 10.

Caught 3 today, biggest pictured at 3.08lbs. All fish caught on Yum Swin n Dinger 5 inch Black and Blue flake. Fish were in 6 to 10 feet of water and the bite was faint. Wind picked up earlier than expected and only spent about 3 hours fishing.
