North banks are a must fish in early spring. Especially with old grass mats. Grass mats absorb heat from the sun and they subsequently attract fish. If the mats are too thick I throw a swim jig and I throw a spinnerbait where I can. A Spinnerbait will usually get bigger bites but without a swim jig your presenting a bait to a fish you otherwise wouldn’t have.
