Cooler weather + Heavy grass mats + = BIG BASS. Late November brings cooler temperatures, and with it comes a number of things- 1) Fall frenzy 2) Bass moving shallow 3) Grass mats being ideal cover. A frog is a big fish bait, and this time of year is perfect to use it.

Work edges and grass patches with top water frog. Follow up any missed strikes immediately with a weightless wacky worm to get the second strike. Target depth is 2-5ft When working stumps focus on points slowly working the wacky from deep in the stumps allowing it to settle in near the bottom. Target depth is 8-10 feet It’s hot out there so be sure to stay hydrated!
