Very tough fishing due to dark/stained water, high water temp and rain. We found a small dam at the end of the lake and pitched wacky rigs vertically along it for smallmouth we also found rocky structure before it and soaked ned rigs and wackys for bites.

Not my normal Report as i dont generally target Walleye...however during a recent Bass tourney Last weekend i found myself catching quite a few of these targeted fish in places i feel they really shoud not have been...caught my first under a down tree in about 2ft of water on a swim jig w/ yum frog trailer....next one under a dock with the same lure. swithing it up and headed to one onf the shallow grass islands in the middle of the lake and caught a hand full of them off the edge of the grass lines in about 5ft of water again on swim jigs with craw trialers,,,all fish between 17" and 22". Caught between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm.
